BayStays started with a simple belief: the best holiday rental is one where nothing feels like a rental.
We are a small, hands-on team based in Cape Town with a deep love for the Western Cape coastline. Over the years we have stayed in, managed, and obsessed over properties along the Atlantic Seaboard — from the lighthouse at Mouille Point to the fynbos-fringed shores of Pringle Bay.
What we kept finding was a gap between the promise and the reality. Beautiful-looking listings that arrived with broken appliances, unhelpful hosts, and the particular disappointment of a place that looked better in photos. We decided to do it differently.
Every property in the BayStays portfolio is one we have personally vetted, stayed in, and would recommend to someone we care about. We keep the collection small on purpose — because quality and attention are things you cannot scale indefinitely.
